Things You Should Know

So, I am sitting at home on my lazy bum with Bravo TV on the screen (this is on our TV at least 50% of the time). Good...Bad? I don't know...but I LAHV it! Alright so anyways, I have been sitting here thinking, what do I write my first blog post about. My day? Besides spilling hot, hot coffee all over myself, it was kind of uneventful. Something deep and meaningful? Not much going on in my head right now. What I cooked for our very rushed dinner? Sandwhiches and protein shakes. How about ten things you should know about me? Yes, I think this is a great idea! Let's Go!

1. I eat the same breakfast every morning. Whole grain oats with unsweetened vanilla almond milk, chopped up banana, too much cinnamon and a drizzle of honey. SO GOOD. I even told Nathan the other night that I look forward going to bed just so I can get up and eat it!

2. I probably should have put this before the oatmeal, but I love Jesus first and foremost. I honestly don't know where I would be without Him.

3. I have been married for almost a year and a half now to the greatest person. We have been together for a total of six years and I wouldn't change a thing. We have such a fun life together and I feel super blessed to call him my husband. By the way, his name is Nathan!

4. Not only do I enjoy weight lifting but I love yoga! Now, this is a fairly new discovery but I have no doubt that this will become a constant in my life. Not only does it de-stress (which everyone can use!) but it makes me feel like I have jelly legs. Translation... it makes me feel awesome after all that stretching.

5. Eating healthy and getting more creative in the kitchen has become a serious passion in my life. I have realized the importance it has had not only on my health, but on how I feel in general. I am hoping that this blog will give me even more motivation to eat clean and try new things.

6. I have thee best family a girl could ask for. Not only my family, but Nathan's as well. Hands down. Could not be more grateful for them all.

7. I am currently working two part-time jobs. One is at an assisted living facitlity doing activities with the folks there and the other is at a cafe in a big ole' gym, which allows me to have free membership I might add!

8. I always have the urge to dress fun or cute, and am getting better at it (I think?), but when I go to the store, I usually end up coming home with a solid color tee. I live in a simple tee and jeans.

9. Speaking of shopping, Target is my home away from home. I mean, who doesn't love Target?

10. I craft, craft, craft whenever I get a good block of time to. Thank you Pinterest!

Well, that's ten! And that was fun! Thanks for reading!
